New Beginnings

It is four and a half years since I set up my business although it only seems like yesterday. No one said it would be easy, if they had I would not have believed them. Of course with hindsight my timing was awful, coinciding with such dire economic problems but I never seem to take the easy option.

Anyway upwards and onwards. The experiences of the last few years now determine where I display and sell my work. Last year I was eager to break in to the London market and I am pleased to say that the cost and effort attending Spitalfields Arts Market has finally started to work. With this in mind my plans for this year will be built around Spitalfields as well as being at RHS Hyde Hall in May and November with the Essex Craft & Design Show. I will consider other events but fully intend concentrating on events where I believe my work will attract interest and appreciation.

I am very grateful to have been invited to take part in TOTALLY PHOTOGRAPHIC 2 Exhibition to be held at Sea Pictures Gallery in Clare Suffolk from 1st - 24th February. Along with 5 talented photographers my selected work will be on show exclusivly at the gallery. It is so refreshing that a gallery owner is so minded to offer quality photography as art, something I believe in promoting. The gallery will be open daily except Tuesday and Wednesday. On sale will be a selection of framed and mounted images many in print for the first time as well as a range of cards produced exclusively for sale in the gallery during and beyond the exhibition.

My plans for new landscape images are in place and during the next 2 or three months will be in Kent, Norfolk and Pembrokeshire as well as a brief visit to Cheshire. I will notify you as and when new work becomes available.

My photo-art now available from Firstsite Gallery in Colchester is already attracting sales which is very pleasing and I hope these unique images continue to attract attention and offer an alternative type of photograph.

Thank you very much for reading, that's it for now, best wishes for 2014 and hope to see you sometime during the year.
