My trading-events season got underway a couple of weeks ago at Spitalfields Arts Market where most of my events will be this year.
Sharing the space with so many talented and hard working artists is very enjoyable. Those of you know me will be aware how keen I am to promote landscape photography as an art form and to be able to sell when competing with so much good art is very satisfying and encouraging.
I will be back at the next Market from 3rd - 6th April where amongst new work will be this Plyprint:-
This is a new medium for me having sold my first the other week. The edges of the 18mm thick Plywood panels are finely sanded to highlight the subtle layers of birch timber. The print is then mounted permanently onto the smooth surface and a matte or gloss laminate is applied to protect it through the generations. Each Plyprint comes with a keyhole drilled into the reverse allowing you to hang them directly onto your walls. They can also be stood upright on a desk or mantle piece, making them ideal for gifts.
Any of my images can be treated in this way but only to order, prices available on request.
The rest of the early part of the year looks like this for me:-
3rd - 5th May Essex Design & Craft Show at RHS Hyde Hall, Rettendon, near Chelmsford
5th - 8th June Spitalfields Arts Market
14th June Dedham Art Fair
From June Sea Pictures Gallery in the picturesque village of Clare in Suffolk will be stocking a range of mounted images of my Suffolk coastal scenes.
Remember even though I may not have an event images can always be purchased via my web site.
Thank you for reading, please forward to anyone of your contacts who may have an interest in my work as well as Spitalfields Arts Market in general.
